Freshcatch (“Freshcatch”, “we”, “us”) is a premium online seafood retailer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. These Terms & Conditions set out the rules for using our website and placing orders with us. Please read them carefully — by browsing our store, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing our website and placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you accept these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Returns Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the store or place an order.

2. Your account

You may place orders as a guest or by creating an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please make sure your contact and delivery details are correct and up to date so we can fulfil your orders. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

3. Orders and pricing

All prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of 5% VAT where applicable. Prices, product ranges and availability are subject to change without notice, and fresh seafood is sold subject to availability and seasonal supply. Where an item is priced by weight, the final amount may vary slightly with the natural weight of the product. Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed only once we confirm and accept your order. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for example, if an item is out of stock or a pricing error has occurred — and to refund you in full in that case.

4. Delivery

We deliver across Dubai only, with next-day delivery on orders placed before our daily cut-off. During checkout you can select an available delivery slot. Delivery is free on orders over AED 200; a flat AED 25 delivery fee applies to orders below that amount. Please ensure someone is available to receive your order and refrigerate it promptly. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather or other factors outside our control.

5. Payment

We accept payment by card, Apple Pay and Tabby, as well as cash on delivery (subject to an additional AED 5 handling fee). Card and wallet payments are processed securely through Shopify and our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details. Your order is confirmed once payment is authorised, or once a cash-on-delivery order is accepted.

6. Freshness guarantee

We back every order with a 100% freshness guarantee. If an item arrives in poor condition or below the quality you expect, contact us within 24 hours of deliverywith a photo and we will arrange a refund or replacement. Full details, including what is and is not eligible, are set out in our Refund & Returns Policy.

7. Cancellations

You may cancel or amend your order at no cost any time before it is dispatched. As our seafood is packed fresh to order, orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled, but they remain covered by our freshness guarantee. To cancel, contact us as soon as possible with your order number.

8. Acceptable use of the website

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to misuse it — for example, by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, submitting false orders, or using it for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose. We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including the Freshcatch name and logo, text, graphics, product images and page design — is owned by or licensed to Freshcatch and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use any of this content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

We take great care in sourcing, handling and delivering our seafood. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues arising from improper storage or handling after delivery, or from allergies where ingredient and allergen information has been made available. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.

11. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of Freshcatch, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws of the Emirate of Dubai, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai. We may update these terms from time to time; when we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
